About Maureen Sanborn

Maureen is a former small business co-owner with a Master's Degree in Education giving her the effective communication skills necessary to build positive relationships with buyers and sellers that will ensure a successful real estate transaction.  Her years of experience mediating conflicts as a guidance counselor help her in negotiating the intricacies of a real estate deal while keeping all the players on an even keel.  She is also a good listener and understands that communication is of paramount importance for every client or customer and ensures that no one is left in the dark.

Having owned, remodeled or constructed a number of personal residences, Maureen has a depth of knowledge and insight about residential real estate that serves her well when working with both buyers and sellers.  She understands that sometimes buyers think they know what they want but may not have been exposed to other views and options.  She prides herself on exposing her buyers to different opportunities and options as they arise.  Thinking outside the box has always been one of her strong points.

Sellers benefit from Maureen's innate ability to advise them on steps that should be taken in order to make their home more saleable as well as the all-important key element of proper pricing.  While many sellers may believe that their house is the nicest one on the street it takes someone like Maureen to tactfully get them the correct asking price.

After living throughout NH, Maureen decided that the Lakes Region had the most to offer her family and has been a resident of Gilford and Meredith for the past 25 years.  She loves the diversity of the area and spends much of her time enjoying all it has to offer.  She enjoys being active in the community as a volunteer and seeing what even a small gesture can do for others in need.  She lives with her husband Roy, and two very spoiled dogs.  She can often be found babysitting her sons' dogs as well.
